Infection

Infection can occur with any type of surgery. It usually happens within one to six weeks of surgery. In the majority of cases an infection can just be treated with antibiotics, however in some cases the implant may need to be removed. Symptoms of infection include fever as well as severe tenderness, redness, and swelling. Capsular Contracture

It is important to remember that this is very common as a temporary side effect however and, in most cases, the sensation in your nipples will return to normal after a couple of weeks or months. Rippling

Rippling occurs when the filling of the implant moves and causes a bump or ridge to appear in the outer shell. Rippling is most common with saline implants and is not common with smooth-surfaced implants, silicone gel implants, and implants that are placed beneath the chest muscle. Additional surgery would be needed to correct this problem.

Displacement

Displacement occurs when the implant moves from the place it was inserted. This is extremely rare and will usually only happen within a couple of days of surgery. It can be corrected with additional surgery.

In rare cases implants can also rupture or leak. This happens when the outer shell of the implant tears and can happen with both saline and silicone implants. If a saline implant is ruptured or leaks your breast will deflate within a day or two. In most cases the implants can be replaced and there is no evidence to show the leaked solution causes any harm. There is also always a risk associated with undergoing general anesthetic. You can experience side effects from anesthesia, such as a sore throat, headache, dizziness, nausea, vomiting, shivering, or muscle pain but these are usually temporary. It is very important that you let your surgeon know if you have experienced any reactions to anesthesia in the past.

Scarring

Scarring will occur with any kind of surgery. The locations of your scars will depend on the technique used by your surgeon. Your scars will be firm and pink for approximately six weeks and will fade over the next few months but never disappear completely. Various topical medications are available to help minimize the appearance of scars.

Serious side effects and complications with breast augmentation are very unusual, however it is important to remember that if you do suffer complications you may require additional surgery to repair damage or remove the implants and could be left with scarring.

Some people are concerned about the link between breast implants and cancer. There is no evidence to show that this is the case, however there is a possibility they could interfere with cancer detection during routine mammograms. Nissan, the Japanese automaker launched the Micra back in the year 2010 with the intention of flexing the hands in the lucrative hatchback segment. But due to stiff competition in the Indian car market where rivals are selling between 15-20 thousand units every month, Micra did not achieve the expected results. The vehicle got numerous changes on the inside and out but mechanically it remained the same. The fifth generation model of Nissan Micra made its debut at the Paris Motor show and it’s a major leap over the previous generation model. The 2017 model looks more stunning and futuristic in design. Recently, the company has launched its 2018 version with mild aesthetic updates and new features.

Nissan Micra Style

The new, refreshed Micra has seen the most number of changes at the front. All the three body panels (two side and bonnet slab) and the front bumper have been changed and the result is a more aggressive and completely new frontal looks. The bonnet grille gets a honey-comb pattern and there is the new V-theme built into the chrome sash that adorns the grille just below the Nissan logo. This theme extends onto the V-shaped ridge on the bonnet and the airdam below the grille.

The headlamps feature a new design now, though the peeled back, bug-eyed overall appearance continues. A curved bottom edge and the kink on the outer corners of the headlamps give them a new look. The lamps’ combination has also accordingly changed. The bumper is now larger and bulges forward even more, swallowing almost all of the facelifted Micra’s increased length of 45 mm. The top variants of the Micra will now also feature a triangular foglamp with chrome housing.

The rest of the Micra’s exterior design has been retained. The roofline, the straight shoulder line, the door design and the door mirrors are all the same as the previous generation’s. However, the rear of the facelifted Micra gets some changes including a new bumper and a new set of tail-lamps with a line of LED brake lights. The overall design of the tail-lamps remain the same.

Over the years, the interiors have been refined a lot. The dashboard of the car is well laid out. The Micra has replaced the older dull looking grey scheme with more chrome across the cabin. The car now boasts of all black interiors which has certainly uplifted the premiumness inside. The center console which earlier got chrome treatment has been revamped once again. It now features a new 6.2 inch touchscreen infotainment unit with audio video navigation through phone mirroring.

The car, as usual, continues to sport the same set of seat fabrics and trims. The rounded air con control and the top half of the dashboard remain the same with piano black finish which is delightful to feast your eyes on. The steering also remains intact with chrome studded company logo which does make the car feel more upmarket. In terms of space, the front passengers get plenty of it and there is a sufficient amount of clearing between the driver’s knee and the steering. Where headroom is good at both front and the back, the legroom at the rear is absolutely generous and amongst the best in its class.

The automatic air conditioner scores some brownie points when it comes to chilling the compartment. Diesels rule the roost here in India and Nissan read those signs pretty early. As a result we have the diesel Micra launched within six months of the petrol’s arrival. And what you see here under the hood is exactly the same unit that has been powering the diesel Mahindra-Renault Logan albeit carrying a lot less weight, 130 plus kg to be precise. The 1.5 dCi unit pushes out a Logan identical 65 PS @ 4000 rpm and maximum torque of 160 Nm @ 2000 rpm. Start the motor up and it fires to life with the usual diesel clatter but once warmed up it settles down to a nice quite idle.

One of the best power to weight ratios in its class means, the Micra dCi feels pretty sprightly off the mark. Keep shifting in the power band and the Micra hits the ton in 16.2 seconds which is pretty much in the same vein as the Swift diesel. Drivability is also pretty good and there is no turbo lag whatsoever. Push it harder though and the Micra takes on a gruff note. The sweet spot lies in the 1500 – 3500 rpm range where this baby is the happiest. The gear shift has a nice positive throw as well and going up and down the box is hardly a chore. The steering feels really good to hold and has grips on the 10/2 position and is slightly dished out. Although it feels great to hold, it does somewhat feels a tad too large. Even though the horn button on the steering is light and easy to use, we found that the horn itself is quite weak and the Micra desperately needs to have dual horns to cope with our country’s driving conditions. The instrument cluster is a fairly straightforward simple to read affair. There’s a speedometer that takes centerstage and the tachometer to its left. On the right of the speedometer are warning lights and a digital display which show the odometer and trip readings in addition to distance to empty and a real time fuel economy readout. This ‘Drive Computer’ as Nissan likes to call it, is a standard feature across all trim levels.

Nissan has built the Micra to last and there are not many reasons to complain on this. The doors shut with a loud thud indicating that Nissan has kept some quality control in the manufacturing process.
